Institute of St Marcellina
Residence Hampstead Towers
About us
Established in 1955, the Institute of St. Marcellina is a residence for foreign students. Our two hundred year old school buildings (Listed I and II) are part of London's history and the older building belonged to the famous architect Richard Norman Shaw. Located in the heart of Hampstead, one of the most pleasant residential areas in London, the Institute stands within easy reach of the city-centre and places of interest.
The residence is run by the Sisters of St. Marcellina who care for, and give individual attention to every guest in a friendly atmosphere.
The Institute offers accommodation to foreign young ladies who come to London to study, caters for school groups and organises summer courses.
Private English courses to school groups or individuals are also offered.
How to get there: St Marcellina is a short walk from Hampstead underground station on the Northern Line. It is also a moderate walk from Finchley Road underground station on both the Jubilee Line and the Metropolitan Line.
